Alford Manor House is believed to be the largest thatched manor house in the country. There is a cafe serving hot & cold refreshments. During the year several events are held, including the very popular craft market.

On Your Marques at nearby Mumby is an interesting collection of model vehicles and motor racing memorabilia covering the many aspects of motoring history.

Rigsby Wood is an ancient woodland at the edge of the Wolds a short drive from Alford.
